Tony Woods

Tony Woods works for Cisco as an advisor to government clients focused on innovation and security.

Prior to joining Cisco, Tony served the Obama administration as a White House Fellow. Before that, he also managed a team developing volunteer-driven solutions for American cities as a program director at ServiceNation and served as an aide to the Governor of New York.

In 2009, Tony launched a bid to represent California’s 10th district in the U.S. House of Representatives. As an officer in the U.S. Army, Tony deployed twice to Iraq and earned the Bronze Star. Tony has written op-eds on politics and national security for The Washington Post, Daily Beast, and Huffington Post and appears regularly on TheAgenda on SiriusXM and Fox News’ Power Play. He has an M.P.P. from Harvard and a B.S. from West Point. Originally from northern California, Tony currently lives in Washington, DC with his husband Zack.
