Understand the role of
Immigration and National Security

Using this approach, Truman plans to launch a series of timely projects, including the ideas for how to address challenges at the US-Mexico border, an investigation into plans to honor the American pledge of Special Immigrant Visas (SIV) for the Afghan interpreters who helped US forces, and research on climate migration and refugee processing policy. Truman’s immigration program develops bold policy ideas that directly contribute to a more progressive and just US immigration system. From the Southern Border, to Special Immigrant Visas, to climate migration, Truman is at the forefront of the conversation.
