Event: Nuclear Issues Across the United States

Featuring Rep. Dina Titus (keynote speaker) Erica Fein, Yasmeen Silva, Denise Duffield, Naomi Egel

Nuclear issues—from weapons to waste—affect Americans across the country. To understand the full range of nuclear issues facing the United States at home, as well as the intersections between nuclear risks and other contemporary challenges, this event brings together panelists with extensive experience organizing national campaigns, working with Congress, state, and local-level leaders to reduce nuclear risks.

The Truman Center for National Policy hosted an important conversation on Nuclear Issues Across the United States on Monday, April 19th featuring keynote remarks from Representative Dina Titus (NV-01). Her remarks are followed by a panel of leading experts Erica Fein (Win Without War), Yasmeen Silva (Beyond the Bomb) and Denise Duffield (Physicians for Social Responsibility–Los Angeles). The event is moderated by Naomi Egel, the Janne Nolan Nuclear Security Visiting Fellow at the Truman Center.
