Sam Scanlon is a former U.S. Army EOD officer and Bronze Star recipient with multiple deployments, including selection as the Special Operations Task Force – Afghanistan EOD Commander. After leaving the military, he has advised Fortune 500 companies and high-net-worth family offices on geopolitical threats and protective intelligence, and later served as the Colorado liaison for the Chief Digital and AI Office. In 2025, he founded Fuseline Collective to work at the intersection of national security, policy, and technology.

He holds a B.A. from Purdue University, an M.A. in Homeland Security from Arizona State University, and an Executive MBA from the University of Colorado.
