Kiara serves as the Executive Assistant at the Truman Center and Truman National Security Project. Prior to joining Truman, Kiara served as a program assistant for American University AU Abroad, where she supported program development and event planning for outgoing degree-seeking students and incoming international students. She also served as a research intern for representatives to the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs, a program management intern at the Foreign Service Institute, and a data management intern for the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. Kiara is deeply interested in diplomacy and security, cultural competence, and multilateralism in the Asia-Pacific region.
Kiara holds an M.A. in Intercultural and International Communication from American University School of International Service. She holds a B.A. in Government and an East Asian Studies minor from the College of William & Mary.
