Karina Peoples is a senior non-profit leader with development experience identifying opportunities and leading staff and volunteer teams in generating sustainable annual fund results, including major giving, corporate and foundation development, distinguished event development, and peer-to-peer fundraising.

In her role with Truman, Karina focuses on establishing impactful connections that align with TruCon sponsorships as well as individual and foundation fundraising opportunities. She is a core development team member raising major funds through strategic planning, constituent relationship management, and corporate engagement. Karina previously worked for the American Cancer Society and WISE Advise.

She has a Bachelor’s from the University of South Florida and is fluent in Spanish and English. As a USAF military spouse and mother, Karina is avidly interested in National Security and Truman's vision to make American lives better through democracy and human rights.
