Alexandria Maloney

Alexandria Maloney works with a dynamic team across multiple departments to recruit, unite, and position national security leaders in order to advance strong, smart, and principled solutions to the global challenges Americans face today.

Prior to joining Truman, Alexandria served as an International Affairs Officer at USCENTCOM with the U.S. Department of Defense – specializing in DEIA, strategic communications, and mobilizing communities for impact. She was recently announced as a Forbes FTC 50 Champion for Black & Brown communities for her work as a board member (and now President) of Black Professionals in International Affairs (BPIA). Her other past professional experience includes the White House Initiative for HBCUs and the U.S. Department of State.

Alexandria is a Founding Co-Chair of Foreign Policy for America’s (FP4A) NextGen Initiative Diversity in National Security (DINS) Working Group; a member of the European Leadership Network on Euro-Atlantic Security; a selectee of the Council on Foreign Relations Young Professionals Program; and on the CSIS-DINSN Power 50 National Security Leaders List. Alexandria has also been a featured speaker at the United Nations, G20 Civil Society Summit, and a guest lecturer at Cornell University’s Institute of Public Affairs.

She received her B.A. from John Cabot University in Rome, Italy, M.A. from Morgan State University, and MPA from Cornell University.
